Trinity Health President and CEO Joseph R. Swedish has been elected Vice President / President-elect of the Organization Catholic Association (CHA) for fiscal year 2011-12. The elections, held yesterday, was part of the World Health Assembly 2011 in Atlanta, Catholic, June 5 – 7. Sweden lead the CHA board as its president in fiscal year 2012-13.

His experience spans the healthcare faith-based and secular university and community-based academic medical centers, integrated delivery systems and regional rural delivery. In addition to the board of the CHA from Sweden currently serves as board member of the National Quality Forum on Health Research and Education Fund, the Equity Committee’s attention and Health System Board of Directors of the American Association of Hospitals and the Board of Coventry Health Care Administration.
