This has to be by far one of the best lip treatments on the market. Pricy…yes. But well worth every cent. In as few as two uses my lips have gone from cracked to whole. Tastes as good as it smells. Lemon…brownsugar..like the body scrub of the same name.

My only complaint: it doesn’t have the longevity of say Prada’s lip balm (which I use when running).

I have been a very happy user of the original Fresh Lip Treatment (non-tinted) for awhile now and decided to give this newer version (tinted) a try. This new Rose tinted version is the same as the original non-tinted with the trademark “Fresh” sugar lemon scent but now with the added bonus of a hint of rose color for your lips. Perfect for casual days and for girls (like me) who don’t normally wear lipstick except for special occasions but do like a hint of color.

More on the topic of why I love the Fresh Lip Treatments: I am a runner and live in hot, humid Florida where my lips are constantly dry and chapped without a good lip product. I had been desperately looking for a product to replace the discontinued Bare Essentials Soy Mocha SPF 15 Lip Balm that my lips loved.

Based on reviews, I bit the bullet and paid the $22 at Sephora and decided to give this Lip Treatment line a try as no other lip balm has even come close as comparing to the Soy Mocha one that was discontinued. I’ve been addicted to the original from day 1, and now also this new Rose tinted version. I apply 3-4 times a day/bedtime and in between, my lips are moisturized and soft. A little bit goes a long way. My lips are getting softer by the day and I am very pleased with the quality of the product. It lasts when I jog and working the ranch in the hot sun. The smell is simply heavenly. The smell is similar to those lemon sugar candies that many of us loved as kids, lol. LIGHTLY scented. Overall, I do feel that this is worth the $$ as nothing else has compared in quality and my lips look and feel wonderful. I keep one in backup so that I don’t run out between a paycheck.

PROS:

* Works as described. Softens, protects and NON-drying.

* Outstanding scent. Lightly scented. No flavor.

* Non waxy, glides on.

* Long lasting. A little goes a long way.

* Nice container, smooth turning. Similar to high quality lipstick tubes.

CONS:

* Price. I for one think that $22 for lip balm is much too high. I try not to recommend this to everyone as many people can’t afford the high $$ (nor can I but I rarely spoil myself so this is one product I’ve decided I can spoil myself with) I do recommend it to those who can afford it or are need something more, but the price really is off putting for most people’s budgets. Definitely worth the price for *MY* needs so I will continue to buy.

If you like the citrusy scent of other Fresh products (as I do) then you will probably really like this lip balm. It has a lovely lemony taste, and a soft, smooth texture. It’s not waxy or greasy, and my husband likes to kiss me when I have it on! The only reason that I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because it doesn’t last as long as I’d like. My lips tend to get pretty chapped in the winter, and I put balm on at night to condition my lips. This one is gone after about 30 minutes to an hour, so I need a much more concentrated lip balm (like Bliss balm) for night use. But if you’re looking for a light, yummy balm, this might be it.

Although this lip treatment costs a fair amount as far as lip balm goes, I don’t know how my lips would live without it! It smells like lemon cookies and has a velvety finish… and it has SPF 15, too. The ceramic tube is easy to find in your purse and doesn’t break easily. After using this lip balm for a week, my lips were already less chapped. I reccomend this lip treatment for everyone.

Fresh makes great, products and this is one of my favorites.

The lip balm is very moisturizing, has an AMAZING scent and does more than just moisturize your lips and make them smell tasty…it gives them a very healthy, plumpled look that I’ve never been able to get with any other lip balm.

The downside of this product is that it needs to be re-applied often

and that there isn’t alot in the tube so if you’re a lip balm addict like me, you could end up needing to re purchase every month.
