Second attack in progress Exide Battery in New York
- by admin
Frisco, TX (PRWEB) November 16, 2011
A personal initiative to hold a company responsible for air pollution in the city quiet bedroom Frisco, TX is held on Friday 18 November 2011 at 8 am … everywhere in New York.
Concerned parents
fly a flag on the area of the Hudson River in New York saying: Exide, stop the killing in Frisco, TX! ExideKills.com
Dr. Ranz
Leila Pate, wife, mother of 3 children in Frisco, TX, daughter of a veteran of the Marine Corps has the following to say about this: My husband and I moved to San Francisco for almost 10 years, newlyweds, for the purpose of raising a family and be home. During the years of living here, it’s sad to say, hidden within the city itself, is a factory that is pumping toxic emissions into the environment, and nobody is doing anything to stop it. In fact, a recent EPA inspection, the factory was found that almost 10 times over “safe” limits of the EPA, but its still open for business daily pumping of lead, arsenic and cadmium and other trace elements in air, water and soil.
The company in question is
Exide Technologies of billions of dollars a year company that recycles batteries and carry within them.
As a mother, what surprises me is that other families in the community is taking a more active stance to protect our children and our own health as adults. The lead is in automotive fuel for over 30 years in this country, but foolishly promoting a city people like us, family, community, etc. was built around a factory that has been polluting the air and soil of Frisco the lead of almost 50 years? If we had known it, would never have bought a home in this community.
Dr. Pate and his family have recently purchased a second home 50 miles away, in a town of Veteran, to protect their children and personal health.
husband and I decided to fly a flag on the area of the Hudson River in New York should draw the attention of some people in New York and Wall Street, and I hope the whole world. We are scheduled to fly on a NASCAR race in Phoenix last Sunday, but the time delay.
that our city does not do anything not to laugh or something, this is not a city that is safe for humans to live and do business in this area until you are fully addressed and resolved. Im Italian born and raised, and my husband was born and raised in the Marine Corps, so I guess that only know how to fight to the end. It is wrong that the city and the factory are coming out with this. “
