the technological evolution of the industry of health care has been an incredible journey, said Susan Nedzad, MD, MBA, FACEPA, medicine specialist and vice president of Strategic Solutions Clinic HealthyCircles. However, so many hospitals and health professionals that I meet with do not know how to safely use this technology to benefit their patients and practices.
technology always has its share of obstacles. However, using the tools that allow organizations and health professionals to reach a specific group of patients, while being involved with the tools to better their attention seems to be a triumph not only for the patient, but also for health professionals as well. At the end of the day, patients want to know your information is safe with easy access to care, while health professionals seeking an opportunity to reduce their readmission rates and decrease their workload is already overloaded . Technology, media, especially social, is the solution.
The idea of connecting health professionals and organizations for their patients through social media is a powerful and innovative concept, said Adam Pellegrini, Director of Marketing and Strategy at HealthyCircles. Now, it may involve existing and new patients through the online technology that is well built and delivered. The power of influence of multiple marketing channels, including the media, to involve patients is an ingredient for a successful adoption.
