Chicago, IL (PRWEB) May 10, 2012
Continuing its expansion in the community, Enjoy Life Foods has joined the station in food allergy and Anaphylaxis Network (Faana ) and Chicagos public television WTTW to produce a series of public service announcements that promote allergy awareness, just in time for National Awareness Month for Mays allergies. The ads debuted in Chicago, but now available throughout the country.
Today, everyone knows a child with food allergies. For these children, including my son, a wrong bite can have devastating consequences. That is why allergy sufferers companies like Enjoy Life Foods are rated by all who love someone with parents allergiesfrom food friends neighbors, and even schools and kindergartens said Michael void, Vice President of the Board of Faana.
feature public service announcements Chris Weiss, Vice President Faana Relations of the defense and government, discussing the rise of allergies in children over the last 10 years, federal regulations require that the companies to show the major food allergens, and the importance of taking children on board certified Allergists.
It was a pleasure having
Enjoy Life Foods as our partner for nutritional support for children in our outreach initiative. Their support has allowed us to get further in the community and meet nutritional needs, with a more concentrated focus on the needs of children with food allergies. That is exciting because of this association, WTTW create and produce a very powerful and insightful series of PSAs that are designed to inform parents and address concerns about food allergies. These PSAs, which are exclusively presented by Enjoy Life Foods, will develop programs for the family at WTTW in May to increase awareness and education of the audience during the National Awareness allergy, said Grace Winston of WTTW.
These ads, which are presented by Enjoy Life Foods, will run during programs on WTTW’s family during the month of May to raise awareness and educating viewers during the National Awareness allergy.
In addition to PSAs, Enjoy Life Foods is also sponsoring the March for allergies to foods, which takes place in 45 cities across the country throughout the year to create awareness and funds. With millions of Americans the management of food allergies and more children are diagnosed each day, funding for food allergy awareness, advocacy, education and research programs is an essential element of the Foundation Faana.
Create
environment food allergens that taste great, besides being safe for the whole family is the cornerstone of Enjoy Life Foods, said Joel Warady, responsible for sales and marketing for the company. Sponsorship of these PSAs is just another way of giving back to the community and raise awareness of the growing number of food allergies.
Founded in 1991, the Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network (Faana) is the world leader in information, resources and programs for food allergy, a potentially fatal disease that affects about 15 million Americans, including almost 6 million for children.
