About the Director
Academy Award? nominee and Sundance award winner, was born of parents nightmare Roko Czechoslovaks and Yugoslavs in the United States. In 1996 he founded the film production company Wadi Rum with his brother Adrian. His directorial debut, Genghis Blues (1999), the brothers made with home video cameras, was nominated for an Academy Award? for best documentary. Education Roko multinationals, with his encouragement to mothers to explore the world through television documentaries, laid the foundation for his passion and his vision as a filmmaker.
