Stevens Healthcare Educational Partnership receives largest grant of Workforce Development Initiatives

For the seventh time in five years, the State of New Jersey has awarded a major health workforce development grant from the Association for Health Education Stevens ( Shep), which works to build the infrastructure of health education through long-term organizations.

Newest Shep grant worth $ 175.000 and is the largest state grant for this fiscal cycle for personal health. It will finance the training of medical professionals as faculty members from various locations throughout Stevens in the urban North coast of Jersey, including Monmouth Medical Center, a flagship Barnabas Health, and several other clinics without profit and near Long Branch, New Jersey Much of this training will reflect the books and concepts applied research of Stevens faculty and academic results of students’ practical Shep in the last five years, which has place in a professional development catalog praised by critics States. Consequently, this grant also will support 20 scholars Shep, who made his stay in local hospitals across the state this summer, along with a selection of academics and scholars Technogenesis Stevens.

In November, Shep received another grant from the State in an amount of $ 350,000, continuing a trend of steady funding and investment by the state and reflects the leadership of organizations in the health education regional. With the latest grant, the State will be provided with Shep over $ 2.3 million in the last five years to fund its efforts to educate health care providers in New Jersey in areas such as patient care, staff and organizational development, information technology, medical translation, and much more.
