Numera today announced appointments for two key leadership posts: Bill Reid as Vice President, Product Development and Feroze Motafram as Vice President, Operations. Reid, who will be responsible for shaping the product vision and roadmap, comes to Numera following a successful ten-year career with Microsoft, where he managed development of strategic health products including Microsoft HealthVault and Amalga. He has his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Masters of Science from Tufts University. He is a founding member and past president of the Washington State Healthcare Executive Forum, a chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives, serves as a mentor and program advisor for the University of Washington Masters of Health Administration Program, and is board-certified in healthcare management as a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Motafram, who is a recognized innovator of supply chain management and new product introduction processes, will oversee supply chain management, supplier relations, provisioning and fulfillment. Prior to Numera, he was Vice President of Operations for Cardiac Science Corporation. Motafram has his Masters of Electrical Engineering from Marquette University, recently completed an advanced management program at University of Chicagos Booth School of Business, and is certified in lean systems implementation by the University of Tennessee.
